Our Manor House on BoPlaas dates from 1890. Here you will find a beautifully layered and detailed interior with classic pieces of antique furniture. In the kitchen are hand-painted wall tiles by Cape town based artist Michael Chandler and a Lacanche stove. There are four generously sized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, the rooms either have access to the courtyard or verandah with great mountain views.
There is a large kitchen-dining area, where guests can really enjoy the heart of the home. Outside, one can enjoy an al fresco dining area, fire boma, braai facilities and lap swimming pool.
The Manor House is the kind of place where you feel the knots unfurl and find a new perspective on life. A place for the family to reconnect and spend evenings playing board games together. It’s what farm life is all about.
And while you can book just the Manor House for up to eight guests, if you wish to hold a gathering of the clans, add the cottages and you can invite up to twenty guests, making BoPlaas the ideal celebration space!
